​Performing Arts at BHS consists of three sub departments – Drama, Dance and Music. BHS offers classes for students who have never before taken a drama, dance or music class, and classes for those with all levels of experience. These classes bring joy and personal enrichment while fostering creativity, collaboration, critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are so necessary for personal, educational and professional growth. Students in Performing Arts classes report that these classes help them have fun during their school day, build confidence, reduce stress, develop friendships and become part of a welcoming community. Year after year, students tell us that their music, drama and/or dance class is the best part of their school day.

FoPA SUPPORTS BHS MUSIC, DANCE, DRAMA & STAGECRAFT
Each year ​more than 650 Brookline High School students participate in our school's vibrant performing arts programs — this year producing nearly 60 performances of 28 concerts and shows! FoPA is a volunteer parent organization dedicated to supporting all this activity and making sure the performing arts flourish as a vital part of education at BHS.   Volunteer with FOPA!   Learn more here or email our team.
